Hello everyone! We have a fair bit more information in this newsletter for you so please read carefully, and call or email us if you have any questions!

Christmas Break: Christmas Break this year will run from Friday, December 23^rd to Sunday, January 8^th; regular classes resume on Monday, January 9^th.

Invoices—Updated invoices will be mailed out as of December 10^th. Please pay them as soon as possible!

Musical Theatre and Ballet Exam Classes: Musical Theatre and Ballet exam classes will run on Friday, December 16^th according to the new schedule:

3:30 – Primary Ballet

4:00 – Gr. 7 Ballet

4:45 – Mus. Theatre Jr.

5:30 – Mus. Theatre Sr.

6:15 – Gr. 3 Ballet

7:00 – Gr. 1 Ballet

7:45 – Finish

Clothing Order: The clothing order has gone in and SHOULD arrive before Christmas. If you would still like to order clothing, you can go directly to ProEmbroidery in the Professional Building on Cheadle to place an order or pay for the clothes you’ve already ordered.

Grade 6 & 7 Ballet: Ladies, if you do not already have a pair of black character shoes, you need to purchase some as soon as possible so that you are able to practice with them before competition. We do have a few pairs in the Tickle Trunk if you want to check those out.

Boots—Students, please leave your boots and shoes in the OUTSIDE entrance on the shoe rack or stairs so no one trips on them—not between the doors!

Hip-Hop Classes – Wednesday, November 31^st was the last day of hip-hop classes for this session. The second session will begin on Wednesday, January 18^th. If you already signed up for the second session, see you there! If not, please talk to us!

Competition Reminder: We thought we would again print the competition details for you. Stick a copy on your fridge!

NOTE: Grade 3 Ballet is as of yet UNDECIDED for Kindersley Konnection, as many of those students are affected by skating competitions. We are waiting to hear on that for that group. Thanks for your patience!

Hello everyone! We have a fair bit more information in this newsletter for you so please read carefully, and call or email us if you have any questions!

BACKSTAGE IS HOUSECLEANING!!!

It’s the time of year when we at Backstage have decided to “houseclean” in preparation for exam and competition season, just to keep things a little more organized! What’s all involved? Well, you can come to the studio during these times to:

sort through the Lost & Found of the last three years;
pick up your recital DVD;
try on samples and order studio clothing;
turn in used shoes for the “Tickle Trunk” OR pick up money from shoes sold
pay outstanding invoices or exam fees (debit and credit machine available)
pick up your income tax receipt (we need signatures before they can be released)

Ms Renée will be at the studio at the following times:

Friday November 25^th: 5:00pm to 8:00pm

Saturday November 26^th: 9:30am to 12:00pm

Competition Details:

Below is a table of each dance group and each competition; for each we have checked off which competitions that group will be attending. We realize there has been some confusion over some of the groups; we hope to clear that up with this handy chart! The chart below that also has fees for each competition.

Classes Still On—We are aware that most students have no school on Monday, Nov. 28^th, Tuesday Nov. 29^th, or Friday Dec. 9^th; however, regular classes will run these days.

Ballet Exams—Exams take place Saturday, February 4^th! Fees are now due for exams; please check your exam notification or the website if you are unsure of what you owe. As well, extra classes have begun and will run every other Friday; ATTENDANCE IS A MUST if you plan to take your exam!

Invoices—If you have not paid your invoice mailed in October, please do so by November 30^th; updated invoices will be mailed out as of December 10^th.
