4) COMPETITION BEHAVIOUR AND ETIQUETTE:
·         Please keep the change rooms as clean as possible and take ALL your belongings with you when you leave, as well as cleaning up stray bobby pins, safety pins, etc.
·         If you use glitter, it must be applied OUTSIDE.
·         QUIET in the dressing room and backstage, as well as when you are waiting in the hallways to be called backstage. We all know how annoying THOSE DANCERS are who shriek and shout and giggle too loud at competition, let’s not be THEM!
·         Sportsmanship is a big deal!! Not only within our own studio, but to other dancers as well! Everyone is there to dance their best, have fun, and perform. Please respect and congratulate everyone on a job well done!
·         RESPECT, RESPECT, RESPECT! Respect your fellow dancers, your teachers, other teachers, other dancers, the adjudicators, the festival organizers, etc.

5) BASIC SUPPLIES:
  • All your costumes
  • All necessary colours of tights
  • All shoes!!!
  • safety pins
  • clear nail polish
  • nail polish remover
  • scissors
  • needle and thread
  • hair nets/elastics/bobby pins
  • Static Guard

6) COPIES OF SCHEDULES

7) THE PHONE NUMBER OF TWO OTHER PEOPLE IN YOUR GROUP (in case something happens)


8) PLEASE REMEMBER THAT STUDENTS CANNOT WEAR ANY “BACKSTAGE” CLOTHING ONSTAGE FOR ADJUDICATION.

9) SOMEONE MUST BE ON STAGE FROM EACH GROUP AT ADJUDICATION. SMILE, CURTSY, AND TAKE YOUR GROUP’S AWARD FROM THE ADJUDICATOR.
