Senior Competitions

Hello everyone,

After much deliberation as well as the parent discussion meeting held last night, a decision has finally been made as to which competitions the senior groups will be attending. All of Ms Shauna’s classes (Grade 6 & 7 ballet, pointe, lyrical, Grade 4 & Senior Tap, Elementary & Senior Jazz) will attend the following competitions:

Leader March 10th and 11th
Kindersley March 24th and 25th
Medicine Hat April 21st and 22nd
Swift Current April 27th and 28th

We have good news regarding accommodations: there are plenty of hotel rooms available in Rosetown and Eston, as we know Kindersley is booked with oil companies!!!!!!! 

Rosetown:

• The Country Rose Inn (1-306-882-3093)
• Heartland Motor Inn (1-306-882-4200)

Eston:

·         Double TT Motor Inn (1-306-962-3639)

Each are about 30-40 min from Kindersley, and have lots of rooms available at reasonable rates.

This year, we are firmly enforcing our competition policy. As competitions are such a big deal, attendance is crucial. Therefore, if you are not able to be at one of the competitions, you will be unable to participate in any of the competitions. While we know this may be disappointing to some students, they will still be included in recital.
